our story

Kube was founded in 2008 with a clear belief: the commercial interiors industry didn’t need another generalist - it needed a specialist. Kube's story started in a small town in Poland, where our founder grew up watching Vescom's trucks roll in and out of a local facility. At the time, it was just part of the everyday landscape. In hindsight, it was the beginning of something much bigger. Years later, that early connection came full circle in Australia & New Zealand, where Kube was established with Vescom as its founding brand. From day one, the focus was deliberate - bring world-class wallcoverings to the commercial sector, without distraction.

We maintain operations in New Zealand through our Auckland team at our revamped showroom in Newmarket, together with representation in Christchurch and Wellington, partnering with leading international manufacturers. We specialise in delivering design-driven, high-performance wallcoverings & textiles for a wide range of commercial sectors, including healthcare, workplace, hospitality, and educational environments. Swinson Group (founded 1979) joined Kube Contract in 2026 with the retirement of Jo & Grant Swinson. Swinson Group has long been New Zealand’s leading specialist in commercial wallcoverings. They entered a new era, joining forces with Kube and now offer additional commercial products including curtain, upholstery & bespoke walls as the Kube Swinson Group.
